a new week is starting!

and for that I'm thankful! I haven't been sticking very well to my woe but somehow have still managed to lose some weight. I'm down 9 pounds in just over two weeks. With quite a few days not on plan I'm thrilled. If I'd get the grocery store I'd have a better chance of staying on plan!! lol

I really need to get focused and stay on plan. 6 more pounds to be back down in the 190's!! I'm hoping and praying that I'll get there by the middle of the month. Then that gives me four months till our anniversary. I'd love to be down to 175 by then. Lower would be better!! ...

I was right, it did go downhill...

... but I don't mind. I stuck as best to plan as I could and Sat wasn't too bad. I avoided beer, had a few glasses of champagne to start the night then moved onto diet red bull for energy! I took picnic stuff like cooked chicken, ham, cheese, berries but also indulged in some dark chocolate. Then Sun came and I woke up feeling shocking and someone presented me with a fishfinger sandwich and a milky coffee at about 1 pm and by then I just needed food in my system so I wolfed it all down and BOY WAS IT GOOD. The only possible thing I can say that maybe meant it wasn't a complete disaster was...

Losing Slowly but Losing

I'm keeping under 30 - 35g carbs a day. I'm eating egg salad for lunch with either cheese, almonds or 8g carb veggies. So, after almost a month, I'm down 8 lbs. Not great but I'm down almost the same amount of weight in one month that I was down the first six months of the year.

I started this blog to keep my thoughts, feelings, creations in one place for myself and any one else who cared to read it. Harper said to put some pics up. The first pic is who I do NOT want to be. This was me not quite my heaviest but it looks worse than my heaviest pic. I do NOT want to look like this again!! The second is who i WANT to be. This is the actress who played Dana on the L word, my favorite show and my favorite character. Dana, sadly left the show but MAN if I could look like this.......I would have no worries!!!! Setting Goals...

OK.. so Harper said we had to answer the following questions:


What do you want?

I want to feel better, healthier and sexier.

Why do you want it?

I want this to be able to be more successful in all areas of my life and to be more productive in achieving my goals.

Next is to create a specific plan of action to get these things.

A. I have started the Ultrametabolism Diet.
B. I have joined curves and will go there on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings.
C. I will ride my bike on Sundays...
