wow..... only tuesday?

feels like wednesday..

hot and breezy here..
too hot to be out walking, unfortunately.
will get on the bike this afternoon.

i have struggled with my weight ever since the 2nd child arrived 16 yrs ago....
when i went and bought some jeans recently and realized i was in a size 10-12... and most slacks have been mediums.. i realized it's not about what the scale says..

it's how you fit into your smaller clothes!
and i have been shrinking since i began eating like my ancestors... clean and simple.
and i am being rewarded...

How long does it take for my photo to show on the faces page? I submitted it and the old one so I could see them side by side but it is saying that it is awaiting approval?

Nursing school started again last week and things have been back to the normal insanity. I'm so grateful for the week we had off, however, life is taking its toll. I just need to get out of my funk and back to the books!
I've been thinking about buying a T.V. with the hopes of getting a Wii so I can try the Wii fit everybody is raving about. Now that the weather is getting nicer by the day, yard sales will be popping up everywhere and it'll be a perfect opportunity to grab a T.V if I see one!
Last week at work, several comments were made about the amount of water I had been...

Breakfast: 3 pieces of bacon and 1 fried egg

LUNCH: Arby's bacon, cheddar roast beef--toss the bun and 20 oz water

32 oz tea with 2 sweet n lows

DINNER: 2 slices of turkey, 1 slice of ham, 1 slice of cheese, 2 tomatos, 1 celery stick and ranch dressing. Diet coke
water

Got another 2.5 miles in yesterday and the scale finally moved to 168.5

I have lots of running around to do today so walking is a maybe
