Scale down another lb putting me at 167.

45 mile an hr winds yesterday so no walk but managed to not stop moving all day. Today I have a huge sun room to clean so lots of exercise.

Hey all!

The prom was awesome! I wore a black dress and danced the night away. My students were so shocked that I can dance....and dance I did! I earned some activity points last night!
Anyways...huge NSV (Non Scale Victory)....I bought a pair of jeans on Jan 19th and when I brought it home it wouldn't come past my thighs....today I'm wearing it to work and they're comfy! The inches are coming off!!! praise Jesus!
for everyone who needs one or two!

Is it the weekend yet?

Wow, what a bear of a day I had at work yesterday. A big ole' mean grizzly bear of a day. I haven't had one quite like that in a long time. Glad it's over. On the bright side, I did find out that Fearless Leader is now on the same continent as I am and should be back in town this weekend. Maybe not back to work right away, but more accessible than when he was deployed!

I get to go have a bone density test this morning. I don't mind having it done, but crikey, it's going to cost me $200 out of pocket. Have to wonder what it costs without insurance. I have never broken a bone...

........thank you all for your well wishes, prayers and positive thoughts.

Mom's cath test went well. No stint, no blockage and no bypass. She was nervous! She had all the other nurses on notice because she used to be a CCU nurse. She just needs to take it esay for about 10 days.

In other news I was whipped today so no exercise. I had an appointment tomorrow but my GP never sent my referral so I guess that means a day off for me. LOL

Day 9.........set a realistic Goal

Setting a goal for yourself can be a great motivator, but you can become overwhelmed if you set a goal that seems too daunting, or will take too long to achive. Don't fall into that trap.....What is your goal?

That is the first chapter of Day 9. She goes on to say that you should set short term goals. She recommends 5 lbs increments, so short term goal it is. I will lose 5 lbs by June 20th (a wedding). Then for my reward I will do a little shopping in the cities, but only if I lose the 5 lbs.
