I resolved to get to a healthy weight. I remembered that I weighed 150 pounds when I was married at the age of 21 and that I could while I was single maintain that weight pretty well..so that was my original goal weight. After research on the internet I found that the highest weight considered 'healthy' for my frame was 145 and so that became my final goal..one that I knew I would have to maintain for the rest of my life, in order...

Starting my blog today so I have a place to write down the day to day struggles, as well as the successes.

First off, I was a little alarmed to have several consecutive high blood pressure readings. We'd had it under control, at around 128/85, a couple of months back. I vowed to not weigh myself until after my 4th week of induction. Hey, I tried! The tempation of seeing just were I was got the best of me. I weighed in this morning down 3.5 lbs. not much but I was happy to see something gone. I've still got 4 days to go. Who knows what can happen in those 4 days. I will be so much happier if the weight moved like it did before. All I can say is patience is truly a virtue. I have still been walking even got a new elliptical over the weekend. I've only been on it a couple of times. My goal for next week is 30 minutes every morning and the afternoons...
