It is 7am and I am waiting for the gym to open and killing time. I am feeling a bit sad this morning cause of some things people posted about me on the boards, but I will get over it. It is just that my life before Atkins was so hard, all I did was think about food and binging. I never thought I woul dbe able to enjoy food and now I can eat and enjoy food, it has been a miracle. I want so badly to share this secret with anyone who has faced the same struggle as me. To help other people realized that they do not have to live in a food prison.

Menu (just numbering meals since B/L/D doesn't apply so much with many small meals):

1: 10 oz ribeye with 1 Tbsp garlic/herb mayo
2: 2 eggs, 1 Tbsp garlic/herb mayo, 1/4 c sauteed mushrooms (in coconut oil)
3: 5 oz pork chop, 1/2 c romaine, 1/2 c spinach, 4 green olives, 1 Tbsp blue cheese dressing w/ added RW vinegar
4: other 1/2 of salad, same as above
5: 2 hb eggs or 1 cheese stick
6: dinner of some sort, eating out after DD's soccer class
7: lc cheesecake if needed

Another Day in The Life of...

To post or not to post, what was the question?
I am not sure what good I do myself by posting this. Do I record the time it takes me to ease myself into weight loss? Is it so I can go back to another day in time that I had a small measure of success only to gain and be back at the near beginning. I have another forum that I use for my real therapy. This forum was to help me move on a track that has had no movement for me in recent days, months. My timer/ticker is ticking the days away till my next deadline September 16th. The date when I will have been on this track for a year. Not true...

Day 2, BP still high

Did a reading first thing this morning: 147/95. Not happy.

I also had a migraine, had taken 2 Excedrin Migraine, but didn't get much chance to hide under a pillow and let it take effect, as my little one woke up and was bouncing around on my bed.

Still, that's on the high side. *sigh*

I'm increasing my Taurine intake so my med/sups look like:

First thing: BP med & other meds
Breakfast: Dietary supplement
Lunch: Taurine 500mg, plus L-Carnitine 500mg, 2000 Vit D, 1200mg Fish Oil, KS Multi-pack, Dietary supp
Dinner:...

New food I found the other day!

(I forgot to add this in the last entry.) While I was grocery shopping, I made my usual stop at the nut isle and found some "new" almonds by Emerald. They are cocoa roasted almonds, they have a faint dark chocolate taste and only one more carb per serving than regular roasted almonds, I wish I would have found these before those low carb ice cream bars, these sure would have helped.
