Here We Go Again...

It's July 5, 2008, and after a bad 5 weeks, I find myself with 10 pounds to lose (weight 146.8) to get back to my goal. It's very depressing, and yo-yoing seems to be my middle name, but I simply HAVE to keep trying!

I don't do well with major changes to my routine, and when school let out, we started going to the pool a lot, which threw my routine into a tail-spin and the eating promptly followed suit. I also found out that Mark will lose his job (for the second time since 9/11) sometime next year. But now, it's time to get back in control before too much "damage" is done....

I ended up going off the rails yesterday with carbage, especially fairgrounds food. But I got more exercise than usual. I volunteered at an orienteering meet yesterday, and I was running around all day, even though I wasn't one of the runners (orienteering combines running with map-reading).

Scale/Bad...Measuring YES!

Well I posted that I feel like I have lost weight but that , the scale is back and forth. I don't feel that 14 pounds for the first month, as big as I am , is all that great!

I weigh weekly ( okay sometimes more then that) and was planning to measure every 45 days or so, I was just putting it off because I didn't want to be disappointed by that too!

You know we all get a number in our head that we want that scale so show and when it doesn't or worse it shows a gain, at least for me, it is like a HUGE smack in the face!

Going with fam to see fireworks tonight and then off to the valley for the weekend to have some fun. DS leaves for WA state Sunday.
