Water, Water, where art thou?

I ran out of water last night, completely. I knew I was going to, and I ask the Ayi to phone for a water delivery for Thursday. She looked at the bottle and suggested Friday, but I said Thrusday again and pointed to myself and made the drinking motion with my hand.

I have been so good with water that I am going through 1 full water cooler bottle a week, exactly. Anyway I don't know what happened? The water never came so maybe she ordered it for Friday instead. When she comes she will see it is bone dry and arrange it to be filled, so at least I will have water for tonight. ...

Size 14 shirt

Yesterday I went shopping, Penningtons is having a 50% off sale . So I picked out a few things that were 1X and X and I tried on this shirt that I've been eyeing for a while, but refused to pay $40 for it. Well it fit and it looks sooo good on me. Then I noticed the tag and it's size 14!!! I can't believe it!!!!! I don't have anything that's size 14 in my closet that I can actually wear. I know it's just the cut of the shirt (it's very generous in the stomach area) but it looks soo cute. Ofcourse I bought it.
I got some new undies there too.. size X. I guess I can throw away...

Can you say Blowhard?

The trainer that was supposed to show me how to do the 30 minute express (curves) was just full of himself. I had to listen to how wonderful he was for an hour and then he showed me how to do cardio on the recumbant bike. I did find that useful but not his bloviating.
The next time he got down to business but I was really hurting after he showed me some more machines.

I am done with him. I am just going to use what he did teach me and carry on like I was. I don't need personal training even if it is free.

Not being diligent enough!

I've had to do a bit of a re-think. I discovered that what I thought was pumpkin was butternut squash the highest in carbs of the squash family. I did not fill in the food diary daily, but actually every 3 days or so and i was shocked, as I went over the 20g carb goal, almost every day.
NOT GOOD!


I am going to put in a weeks summary, each Friday. AND I definately have to fill in the diary each day before cooking my evening meal, so that I can make adjustments.

Fri - 20
Sat - 18
Sun - 21
Mon - 22
Tues - 25
Wed - 17...

Starting my second week

I have been doing fairly well at stickin to the program other than I did not stay in induction. Once i de-sugared my body I wasn't craving anymore. I'm allowing a few carbs here and there for the most part not much. I have been feeling very empowered this time more so than any other time. I've tried the lc eating before for losing weight but this time it is for my health. I have been feeling better than I have for months and that alone is helping me stick to the program. When I did the blood sugar stress test my score was 127 and that was way above the amount that it is supposed to be....
