Closer than I was yesterday!

I plan to celebrate my birthday in grand style this year. I'll be turning ?? Ha Ha!! I'll never tell. One of my favorite female gospel singers is coming to town, and my girlfriend gave me money so I can attend. I'm syched!! My plan was to be at 200 lbs or less by my birthday (mid Aug.); bringing my weight loss total to 82 lbs. since January 08. That's when I got serious about doing lc. A week ago, I was at 209 and today, I'm at 204.5. Kuddos to me!!

I've got a new suit that was given to me, that's four sizes smaller than what I've been. I tried it on, and it fits....

Changes.....

Posted 08-08-2008 at 08:12 AM by luckiangel
I have always been one to embrace change...i love it.....it's exciting....it's challenging....it's motivating. So why then do i find myself realizing that this change for weight loss to be so elusive? I was at curves this morning and albeit the mirror they have there is not very flattering.....i guess it's not meant to be....but i just don't look the way i see myself. I am reminded of a Jerry Springer program i saw once where this woman was well over 400 lbs and said she liked herself, said she didn't feel fat and couldn't see herself that way. Well the audience and Springer were all dumbfounded....

so.. great start i had... i stuck to k/e about 2 days or so past the last post i made, and then tried adding some veggies and cheese in the mix, and just couldn't handle it. every time i'd try i'd have to purge it, and that's led me to months of binging and purging. i've gained so much weight.. and have hit the highest weight i've been at since i was 19. *sigh*

i know they say that coming off of k/e will make you gain it all back and more. i just didn't think it would happen this fast, and that i would have such an intense fear of simple healthy low calorie foods.. i remember when...

Doing great today, but probably because I haven't gone grocery shopping. When there is very little to choose from, it's easy to stay on plan!

B: 1 min muffin and coffee w/HC
L: romaine with a plain burger, smoky cheddar and blue cheese dressing
D: Took kids to Chuck E. Cheese, had 4 hot wings and a the salad bar.

Did Couch25K Week 2, Day 2 and also rode the bike for 2 miles in 10 mins!! WOW! I am so proud of myself.

Have to try to stay on plan, especially during my upcoming cocktail party on Saturday.

Next week, I also...
