Getting right and Staying tight!!!!

I used to be slim fit and very athletic. hence diezil wich use to be my nickname in high school. I could eat whatever i want and not worry about weight gain. wish I didn't.

I've gained 20 pounds and i find myself wishing i had a time machine to stop myself from getting all the junk food i ate, but since i don't have one I have to start working on getting my self back to the way I was.

Diabetes, heart conditions, and high blood pressure runs in my family so I have to maintain a good weight to lower my risk of obtaining any conditions.

WEEK 1 behind me!!!

I'm starting week 2 of induction and I feel great! I did awesome last week and plan to do even better this coming week. I don't know why but it is MUCH easier this time. I don't even think about what I can't eat. AND I'm down to 208 which is great!!!! With all my new friends on LCF I am very motivated and get lots of great ideas and support. I am getting a little bored with my food choices but that is my fault for not being more opened minded. I'm going to check out the recipe's on here today to get some ideas. I can DO this! They will be calling me skinny dip before I know it!!! lol lol

3 days meat and egg here I come

This week's plan:

3 day's meat and egg and lots of fat (Mon, Tues, Weds)
Continue running
Liver flush Thurs - Fri

I then have a very heavy w.e. coming up with parties on Fri, Sat and Sun. If I don't go into these without a strategy I will seriously mess up so the plan is:

high fat, induction level eating
meals on all 3 evenings before I start to drink
Fri and Sat night - gin and slimlines; Sun night - not too much drinking, just 1 or 2 glasses of champagne with dh to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. From next Mon, it's...

A New Beginning

WHY THE BLOG?
I went from 158 to 143 back in March until July.
I went on vacation, fell off the wagon and having a hard time getting back on.

WHY DO I WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT?
Back in 2005 I started losing weight at 215 and managed to get to 155 and have pretty much been stuck there since. That was a huge accomplishment for me. My weight held me back so much and I feel it still does to a point. I am much happier in general, but I'm definately not happy with my body.

Hello, I'm Kristina. I have used the low carb approach many times. It's the only thing that has really worked for me. In the past two years I have been in an amazing relationship where I feel loved and safe and have zero worries and trust issues. It's so refreshing!!
