Atkins again

Posted 08-12-2008 at 09:31 AM by cajungenes
Hi, I'm 53 and I've started on the Atkins diet again. The first time I went on it was around 1973 or 1974. I did really good and got thin. I was 20.

It's not as easy now, and I'm not sure how I'm doing. I weigh 228 and my goal is 140. I'm on my third week of induction. I'm afraid to add more carbs because I've only lost
six pounds so far.

I switched from Diet Coke to Tab because I heard that is better. I cut out the Splenda and Equal and only use Sweet and Low.

I'm not giving up, but it sure is discouraging. I haven't cheated even once. ...
