Inches vs. Pounds

Posted 08-15-2008 at 03:42 AM by cajungenes
I've been a little discouraged about how slow my progress is losing weight. I took my measurements yesterday for the first time since I started Atkins.

I've lost 11& 1/2 inches total! That really makes me feel better.

I still have a really long way to go, but at least I can see more improvement.

I tried the first day of the planned workouts. It was way to much volume.

This is the new plan not counting warm ups.

Workout A: Back, Biceps and Forearms

Cable Pull Downs 2sets 4 to 6 reps
Close Grip Pull Downs (using a V-Bar) 2 sets 4 to 6 reps
Bent Over Rows 2 sets 4 to 6 reps
Alternate Dumbbell Curls 2 sets 4 to 6 reps
Straight Bar Curls 2 sets 4 to 6 reps
Barbell Wrist Curls 1 set 8 to 10 reps
Dumbbell Wrist Curls 1 set 8 to 10 reps

Workout B: Chest, Shoulders and Triceps

week 11, a little late

Posted 08-14-2008 at 05:34 AM by laurihill
Crazy busy with farming, grandbabies, and life in general, so I am 2 days late with the weigh day. I was 178 today, that is a lb gone from last week. I will take it. I feel so much thinner, and my shorts are getting so baggy. This way of eating is so easy in the summer. Right now I am feasting on my tomatoes, probably 5 a day. I know I am eating lots of veggie carbs, but I sure enjoy them!
