08-12-08 Coming off Fat Fast

Well, I made it through the fat fast... I ended up doing three days.
I fell on Sat and twisted my ankle in the process... landed hard enough that the next day I felt like I had whiplash. So Monday I stayed home and since I had to be inactive anyway, I did a 3rd day of the fat fast. I AM metabolically resistant or at least slightly so, that is why I do the fat fast from time to time.

I broke the fat fast this morning (6am) with 2 oz of cheese. Then once I got to work I went to the cafeteria here (7:30am) and got two scoops of scrambled eggs, 3 sausage and 3 bacon! I read...

Beginning a new chapter in my very long low carb journey...

I started Atkins' Induction '72 style last week. Before that I did 3 days of the fat fast, and before that I was low-carbing and counting points (WW) but I was subtracting fiber. It stopped working for me.

I am feeling great on Atkins '72 and I will weigh in this Sunday, after two full weeks plus the 3-day fat fast. I can't wait to see if I have broken my stall! I am almost sure I have!!

Trying to set this up as my own journal about my journey to weight lose and better health.
I have been following the Wendy Chant Crack the Fat Loss Code program since July 7th and have lost 15 pounds in 6 weeks.
Better than that, I have gone off my diabetic meds and and loving the program. I am exercising and chosing the right carbs for my body but loving my cheat days also and having exactly what I want. I do not feel deprived in the least and the scale is responding.
I am in week 7 which is maintenance for 2 weeks, then off to do the plan again for another round of weight...

I just read my last post and i am so lame!!! My total lost on ultrametabolism is 16 lbs! DUH!

Anyway.....i blew it this week. I've been under alot of stress at work and i've given in one too many times this week. I missed curves this morning because i think i had a reaction to the sesame oil in my salad yesterday and i had a headache. So i slept a bit more this morning. Did good while I was at work but then I caved in this evening again. Third day in a row where i lost it after i got home. I was planning on staying on the plan while i am on vacation next week.
