Down 3 more lbs!!

Good morning!

This morning I was down THREE more lbs! I am excited. So that makes 6 lbs total.

I had a great day yesterday on Atkins.
B-egg salad
L-ground beef/rotel/cream cheese with pepperoni
D-Steak Umms with provolone cheese and green beans

I should've had more veggies but I forgot to eat my broccoli at lunch. It was the first time I had tried Steak Umms and OMG!!! Yummo!!

Last night I scrambled some eggs with fresh jalapenos and added some steak to have this morning for breakfast. It was SO GOOD this morning...

MetroMint Chocolate Mint Water. ZERO anything!

Ok. So I went to the grocery today looking for dinner and over in the organic/ health food section I find these cool looking bottles of water called MetroMint. They had several different flavors. Orange mint, Peppermint and Chocolate Mint. I got home & put them in the firdge. After dinner, ( Hot Browns, which I totally forgot were completely legal on induction without the bread-YAY!), I got out the bottle of Chocolate mint.
Oh...My...GAWD!!!! It tasted just like water but after I took a drink it had the after taste of a York Peppermint Patty!
This is great news to me because...

Really Trying

I've struggled the last week and gained back the 3 pounds I lost the first week. I've got to get serious! I want to meet my first goal. Accomplishing LC for 3 weeks would be a great thing and I'm willing to try my best.

I need to come up with some desserts besides sf popcicles!

This one sounded pretty good...

16oz cottage cheese
1 tub sf cool whip
3 oz pk sf orange jello
Mix cottage cheese and jello. Fold in cool whip.

Starting Low Carb again with some WLS help

I haven't been checking in on LC Friends for a looong time due to the fact that I made it my mission to qualify for Lap Band Weight Loss surgery last year. It took a year to jump through all of insurance's hoops, but I did it and did get Lap Band surgery May 18th, 2009 and am now down 40 pounds. I did not have to be overly careful with what I was eating the first few months, as I had to focus on eating mostly soft food while my stomach healed. Then just having the restriction of the band itself helped me lose a good chunk of weight (I also have been exercising...even participated on a team...

Week 3, Day 2

Well Week 2 saw a loss of 1 pound. Was hoping for more but I am okay with any poundage off. The second week was suppose to be like this, so I guess I am normal. The schedule planning is beginning to get normal and for that I am glad.

I have been able to stay away from chocolate (my greatest downfall) and can really say I am not craving it one bit. I do drink "chocolate" shakes when I do shakes.

I am averaging between 70-80oz of water per day, but the exercise has got to happen. I have a meeting tonight but plan on coming home and exercising after that....
