My Start Weight

In addition to clarifying my goal weight, I thought I would clarify my start weight. Well, it is a sad story. My scale only went up to 350. One day, after a long period of denial, I pulled out the scale. I stepped on and it said... ERROR. I tried again ERROR. Changed the batteries. Tried again. ERROR. Put one foot on. It gave me a reading. Tried again. ERROR. Oh the horror when I realized I had exceeded the maximum weight.

At that moment, I cut out all the nonsense... the low carb junk with hidden carbs that I fooled myself into thinking was "legal"......

My Goal

When I went to a dietician, I found out that my lean body weight is 155. That is about 55 pounds more than the average woman my height, and also more than the average man my height (I don't remember by how much). So, my goal can never be 155 or less. I will never weigh what the weight charts say I should. If I did, I would be anorexic. Especially on a diet like Atkins, where little muscle mass is lost. I also exercise. So, it might sound like I am being an underachiever if you don't know my whole story, when I say my goal is 185.

to my old faithful w.o.l. starting today my menu
b-3 scrm eggs in olive oil w/ 1 sl ch
2blck coffee 2-8oz. water. will be back w/ dinner, lunch & snacks

Lean for Life - Week 1/Day 1 (8/18/08)

The first day wasn't so bad!

B - 4 slices turkey bacon
S - HBE
L - 5 slices honey smoked turkey deli meat
S - 4 slices turkey bacon
D - 2 pork chops

The only concern I had is that I only ate 900 calories. I didn't really notice until I tallied it all up. I'm going to need to eat a few more servings on Day 2 because I don't want to eat below 1200 cals a day.

Achievements:

1) I turned down an offer of popcorn.
2) I took the rest of my birthday cheesecake to work and gave it to the co-workers.
3) I didn't...

Day 1 over

Well, it seemed like a long day and I really thought that I would be hungrier..NOT. BUT i did do well until i got the the freezer and found that LAST ice cream. Boy, was that calling to me. So, I ate it. bad me, but now that it's gone I will not be getting anymore of them.

I had a wonderful dinner and got myself some baked chicken at the store. yum. I love it and so does my many pets.
Maybe I will be able to keep to this eating progrem when I bear my sole every day. Let's hope.
