Grrr... I hate when the system logs me out while I am composing and then I lose EVERYTHING and have to RE-DO it! Oh well, here it goes... again....

Week 23

only .4 lbs this week, but hey, I didn't gain.

I continue to be amazed at the people here and how supportive everyone is and encouraging.

this place is the best support group I've ever been part of.

loss continues to be slow b/c of not exercising, eating poorly, and drinking too much.

I've kinda been resting on my laurels here lately, and it's showing. I need to get my initiative back and plow forward.

5:30 p.m.
8 grilled chicken wings
1 c. green beans
Diet coke

Dinner: 9:30 p.m.
8 oz. hamburger steak
1 c. green beans
Diet Root Beer

Exercise: swimming-30min.

Well...I weighed in today...I LOST 4 POUNDS! Wow. I just need to do that 40 more times I am still motivated, though, and I have started reading the book (finally! Even though I plan to read chapter 10-14 first, and then go back, and read the rest). Its a start.

08-25-08 Weigh-In Results

Well, after 16 days (5 of which were fat fasts, the rest of which were Atkins '72 Induction) I have lost 4 pounds. Not bad for a snail paced metabolism.

I am thinking that I lost about 1/2 lb each fat fast and very little other days. Not surprising... I think I am one of the unlucky few metabolically resistant folks who will need to use a day or two of the fat fast each week to lose. That is ok with me. I can live with that. I am thinking I will lose closer to 1 lb a week from now on, doing a fat fast on saturdays (my husband works most saturdays).

But who...

2 eggs with 1/2 oz cream cheese blended together (scrambled) with 1/2 oz cheddar on top. 2 oz left over steak.

L -

Lamb cooked it carrot shreds, tomato and seasonings
1/2 cup cooked cabbage
1/4 cup kale and zucchini mix
1 cup salad with ranch

S -

2 oopsies with PB/Butter mix (1/2 carbs, ups fats) and jam (sugar free)

D -

1.5 oz chicken breast
1 oz cheese
1 tbsp mayo
2 oopsies

will edit later to include carb counts.
