Happy almost Friday!

I had a wonderful day off yesterday. I did some volunteer work in the morning and then my hubby and I went to lunch and a movie.

Why is it that great actors are in sucky movies lately??? I actually slept through the movie yesterday - it was that bad.

Okay, back to topic. Yesterday I had Chinese food for lunch - bad choice. So I am going to give myself 2 correction days to get back to my "fighting weight".

My correction days will consist of protein shakes for 1-2 meals and a protein/fat dinner.

Lets see what...

day twelve I had a good day, yesterday but didn't really go how I'd planned. so ON plan but not expected, lol. I just mostly hung around. watched a movie with dh, just relaxed for the most part.

dh and I went out to lunch with my daddy and I did stay on plan, except for the relish that was hidden under my bunless burger and got mixed in. I scraped some off but didn't stress bout it and just ate some too. good thing is I wasn't really hungry the rest the day so dinner was small. just a little of the roast I made in order to say I ate, lol.

I have cheated myself

I only started the Atkins diet about 8 days ago.I cheated after 3 when I had no option to eat other than chicken tenders( breaded).Thinking it wouldnt do me any harm...but of course it did because it was like starting at day 1 all over again..The weight I had lost in the first 3 days ..came back the next day.So now I am sticking with it completely.I eat turkey burger..no bun..I eat chicken grilled with salad..no crouton..I have them put any dressing to the side..vinagrettes I eat but the creamy ones I will not unless they are packeged and tell me how many carbs are in them .I amhoping having a...

Low Carb Pizza and minus 2 more pounds!!!

OK. So I found these tortillas today at the grocery store. They are 4 carbs each.
I used some spaghetti sauce that was 2 carbs per 1/4 cup and I used these toppings:

pepperonni- zero carbs!
ham- zero carbs!
mushrooms- zero carbs!
1/8 cup onions- 2 carbs?
1/8 cup green peppers
1/8 cup red peppers
mozerella cheese- generous amount!
parmesan cheese- ditto!
red pepper flakes- a few shakes

By my calculations, the whole thing was 8 carbs! And it was so filling that I was not even interested in jello after that!...

woot! a few more days and I'll have made it 2 weeks. wasn't sure this would ever happen again.


yesterday's goals:
  • keep up with the kitchen and bathroom where I've already cleaned
  • eat on plan
  • exercise treadmill. a little over 30 min. (still slow pace but working up)
  • 15 min. decluttering I kept putting it off and ended up not doing it
  • read a little out of my book
  • get a load or 2 of laundry in the wash

today's goals:
  • keep up with the kitchen and bathroom where I've already cleaned
  • eat on plan
  • exercise
  • 15
