Should start blogging again. It's always useful. I don't want to bore the folks over on live journal wittering about Low Carb, so can witter here instead.

I'm currently at 160lbs, having gone down a little after a stall for all of August. But I had lost 2kg of bodyfat, according to my gym fitenss assessment.

I've been on Induction level carbs and legal foods for the past few weeks (well maybe a little over on the veggie carbs by now) and have been concentrating on eating clean. I think it's time to start moving up the rungs again from next week. I'm already on rung...

Adjustments and re-focusing

Posted 09-15-2008 at 06:11 AM by slimdays
Being back at home requires some adjustments. I am using my own treadmill again. I notice that my treadmill has more drag on it than the ones at the gym. I have to work harder at a lower speed but it gets the same results. Hot n sweaty and raising the heartbeats.

I cannot afford to fool around with my food plan. No leeway. I have been floundering up and down for a month or more. It is time to see a NEW number on the scale! Ya know what I mean?

It has been difficult to exercise in this humidity but I have tried just the same. Yesterday I was late getting...

Okay Now that, that is out of the way...

Posted 09-14-2008 at 09:14 PM by Flaxman
...it's time to get back to some serious, yet relaxed eating postures. I've got my 2 daughter's birthdays so close together and of course cake and goodies. Ah well, I don't care. I enjoyed that but not as much as I enjoyed eating well.

This week will be back to a lovely greasy breakfast tomorrow, probably eggs and sausage I guess. Busy day so I'll probably have time for a shake for lunch.

I've got a tiny, little cooler which I'll take with me with cheese and whatever else I can put together to keep my low carb snacks at hand in case my sugar decides to plummet....

Feeling like a Failure

Updated 09-14-2008 at 05:30 PM by StartingOver (afterthought)
This weekend turned out horribly food wise. Saturday evening I had some bbq with french fries and macaroni Salad for one meal. I felt horrible after eating but still managed to eat more today Sunday. The scale is back up right now to 188, and I am dreading what it will read tomorrow. I feel like a big fat COW. I was stressed with work, school and used that as an excuse. I feel it's so important for me to write this down, so I can come back to this post and remember how bad I feel when I go off plan. My stomach is HUGE, and I look all puffy and bloated. I've got some serious intestinal discomfort...

My Summer WW meeting

Posted 09-14-2008 at 11:14 AM by slimdays
When I first went to the meeting in Plymouth (my summer place) I didn't like it. I had gotten used to our leader and of course this one was different. But as time wore on and I attended every week without fail I got to like this group. The people really participate in the discussions. There are more than one that are at lifetime and attend every week faithfully for several years!! I needed to see that because the first time I made lifetime I did not keep up with the program and meetings. I suspect that continuing on after reaching goal is the secret. I am thinking of training to become...
