Weighed today - 226 - down 4 pounds! I had a funny reaction, though, like I thought 'oh, it's just water'. Instead of thinking woo-hoo!
Still feeling mostly in control though. No cravings really.
I really can't wait until I get under 200. It just doesn't feel sexy to know I'm over 200 pounds somehow.

I made some fabulous foccacia like flax bread tonight and it's awesome. Tastes like I'm eating an interesting fibre filled bread. Love that!

am - protein powder in cream
lunch - 2 pcs chicken and slice cheese
pm - flax bread, cheese

Day 8......select an exercise plan...7 lbs gone

Posted 06-03-2008 at 06:58 PM by laurihill
First week over with, today is weigh day.....good news, I weighed 191.2. I started the week at 198, so I have lost 7 lbs the first week. That makes me happy, but still mad at myself for regaining the weight to begin with. I am feeling like this book is really helping me though, and maybe this time will be different. So today I it was rainy and there was nothing much going on, so a lazy day. Probably ok, since I am stiff from working in the garden. M menu for the day

Brkf: 2 bacon 2 eggs 1 white scrambled (starving this morning)
dinner: chili (no beans, just hamb. crushed...

What You Need To Do Dry Brushing:

To dry brush, use a soft natural fiber brush with a long handle, so that you are able to reach all areas of your body. One with a removable head with a strap for your hand is a good choice.

A loofah sponge or a rough towel can also be used. Most nylon and synthetic fiber brushes are too sharp and may damage skin although I found a softer bath brush with nylon bristles that seems to do the trick. The important thing is to find something...

cauliflower cakes

Posted 06-03-2008 at 04:47 PM by rainbowlaserdragon
The cauliflower cakes are easy, breezy!!!

1 16 oz. bag frozen cauliflower (you could certainly use fresh, I just happened to have a bag in the freezer), cooked for about 8 minutes until soft, drained well then riced or smashed really good
1 egg
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
salt & pepper to taste
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp. garlic powder (or 1-2 cloves of garlic minced)
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1-2 T. expellar pressed coconut oil

Mix all ingredients (except coconut oil)...
