11 Week Update

still making downward progress which is excellent. Surprised to see any loss at all after my diet this past weekend. I can do fine during the workweek when I pack my breakfast and lunch which are on plan, but when the weekend comes, sometimes it gets really hard to stay on.

So, 11 weeks, 26 pounds, 2.36lb/wk average. Not too bad. Still, wish it was coming off faster, but gotta remember the booze is slowing it down, and the biking is adding lean muscle. 21 days now biking to work 7 miles a day.

I am not displeased.

Show you can't trust what you "feel"

Posted 06-02-2008 at 10:51 PM by violettfem
At least when it comes to 'feeling fat or bloated or like I gained.

Today was WI and I lost 2 lbs. The 1.5 gain from last week and a half a pound. Thank goodness.

I realized this morning that my progress really hasn't been that slow. I have been OP, no cheats, no binges for 5 weeks now and I have lost 7 pounds. That is more than a pound a week. If I count the week of the Christening when I binged for 3 days on pizza, cinnastix and cake then it's 6 weeks at 7 and a half pounds.

That is not too shabby considering all I do is lie on the couch all day....

Day 7.........Create time and energy

Posted 06-02-2008 at 06:55 PM by laurihill
Dieting takes a lot of commitment that goes beyond eating differently. You need time to plan meals, make lists, shop, and cook. I need to eat slowly, to exercise and to read my response cards. It all takes time and metal energy. To make time and energy for dieting I am going to plan my meals, right down to snacks. Always have food ready in the fridge that is Atkins Friendly.

Today was a good day. I worked in the garden for 5 hours, so really burned some fat. I ate healthy, gave myself credit, ate slowly, sitting down. I am finding that is a biggie for me. I would open the fridge...

I need a new profile pix when I think of it. I will take it after I have gotten ready to go out. My face is looking smaller now.

Down 4 lbs

Posted 06-02-2008 at 03:23 PM by sz8n08
So as expected, I'm down 4 lbs. I had the worse headache yesterday and woke up at least 5 times to use the bathroom. So I know it's water weight but it's great to see the scale move. 16 more days to go and 16 more lbs to my goal of 20 lbs by my birthday.
