the fourth

So, of course, I start my big diet plan the week before the 4th of July... not really thinking about the big BBQ we had planned. I didn't want to let my friends down, so I decided to just be good.

My hubby made blueberry/raspberry pie, and there was homemade ice cream and corn on the cob and all sorts of things I shouldn't have.

Hey I'm proud of myself!! I got through the WHOLE DAY w/o cheating!! Here's what I ate:
B: 2 scrambled eggs
L: 1C raw spinich, .5C romaine lettuce and a can of tuna with some green goddess dressing
D: 3 pieces of grilled chicken and 4 marinated mushrooms over salad greens
Treat: 1/4 fresh whipped cream with stevia and cocoa powder w/flax meal (YUM!)

I think everyone at the party was surprised! I'm usually the one grazing all night long... so this was a big change

Now, I just have to keep it going
