Whew it's dusty in here ****dusting off the cobwebs***

Wow it's been a long time since I've posted to my blog. Shame on me!!!
Let's see what have I been up to?? I'm still following WW. I must admit I started to get really frustrated. As much as I love WW I was just gaining and losing the same few pounds. It started in April and I just couldn't get the scale to consistently go down.
In July after one of my meetings where I gained 1.2 pounds I had enough!! I was totally flabbergasted and beyond stressed and upset about it. I really love the points program but for some reason the scale just wasn't moving. I know some people here aren't WW fans but it's a plan I can live with for the rest of my life. I know some people may eat below their points and not use their extra points to lose weight but what's the fun in that??? To me that's just another diet and I'm tired of dieting. I was becoming obessive and just scared to eat anything in fear of how it would affect my weigh ins. That's just no way to live and exist. I mean there has to be a happy medium right? So I remembered the CAD plan. I tried it a long time ago and I was pretty happy with it but never stuck with it long enough to see any results. Why not try and combine the two??? Follow Weight Watchers and CAD?? I mean what can it hurt?? I started on WW/CAD on July 28th at 230 and today I'm at 223.5 so I think it's working for me!
I couldn't be happier! I now realize CAD didn't work for me before because I was eating way too much food during my rm. Now that I'm following CAD and counting my WW points I'm able to enjoy all those foods that I love without any guilt. I'm in what someone calls "my happy place". Even if the scale goes up some it doesn't bother me anymore. I know if the scale goes up some if I stick with my plan the scale will go back down.

I've found "my happy place" and I plan on staying there.

Hi Oraki! wondered where you have been? Thanks for your comments on my most recent post in my blog. I am frustrated but I am determined too. (at least this week) What is CAD?
