Monday Monday

It's Monday and it's time to start a new week. I have to go to another location starting tomorrow through Friday for training. That will be additional gas because it's farther to get there. It's almost 4 dollars a gallon! Me and my sister was talking last night and she mentioned that even the cheapest groceries stores have went up on their prices. She normally goes to a store where you bag your own groceries called Sav A Lot and even their prices have increased. I tell you between gas and groceries what is a family to do?? Thank goodness it's just me and my husband because I can't imagine having to feed and take care of any children. There's so many different recipes that I would love to try but hey ingredients cost money. I guess I gotta keep it simple and make my own "creations".

Sorry but I don't have any time to visit blogs this morning. I'll be back later.

I haven't purchased any gas since last Tuesday. I'm scared to go to the station

I went and purchased a brand new car, right before the gas prices went UP!

I know, it's terrible isn't it?

It was only 4 years ago that gas was 270-290 a gallon here in NY. *Unbelievable*

Hope you are having a great day doll!

Between gas and groceries on a very limited budget, I completely agree that it makes trying new recipes and enjoying some of the finer things in life difficult!!! I tried a recipe yesterday that called for three egg whites. I went through 6 eggs to accomplish this frustrating task! I saved the broken eggs yokes and goop in a bowl to eat later, but still, one egg costs a fortune these days!!!!
