Happy Mother's Day...

Posted 05-11-2008 at 07:06 PM by oraki
to all the mothers out there!!!

I didn't do much today. I went to go see my mom but she had went out of town. She wasn't for sure if she was going yesterday but I guess she found out early this morning. She left pretty early so she didn't call me. I did talk to her though. I was feeling a little bummed because I didn't have the money to buy her something really nice for Mother's Day. I did get her a card and a little gift. She said she liked it. Hopefully one day I'll be able to do more.

Well this weekend has been a bust eating wise. I won't even sugarcoat it. Not good at all. I thought I was back on track this morning and then my husband decided he wanted chinese food. Ugh...I'm definitely back on track tomorrow. I've already planned out my food for tomorrow on etools and I even included some exercise. I'm not going to dwell on the weekend. There's really no need to. I just gotta keep it moving!!!

I never usually have money for some lavish gift for my mother, so I stick with a card, write some teary-eyed things in there, and then tackle a project or two that she has complained about forever or something that looks like she needs help doing(organizing, cleaning, laundry)
