Wednesday's journey

Still keeping strict low carbs... not much yesterday or today... but keeping the steps up pretty good.

Menu:
low carb shake, burger casserole with cheese onion and mushrooms, olives, tossed salad with cucumber, radish, cheese, blue cheese dressing. Coffee, cream, splenda and a couple of bites of low carb bar.

The scale was good this morning.... 233.. so losing even if it seems slow

Monday happenings

Weight is still at 234, but making thru a weekend and not gaining weight is an accomplishment... so I am feeling good.

Didn't get much exercise done over the weekend... but did get alot of steps on my pedometer. (I wear it all day to calculate steps that day) Today I am over 12,000... so thats a good thing.

I did a 20 min bike workout today.

menu:
Breakfast: a low carb shake
Lunch: low carb chicken nuggets and 1/2 a low carb bar.
Snack: the other 1/2 low carb bar and a couple of macadamea nuts
Dinner: Low carb casserole ...

Thursday's Journey

Today has been a good day.. started out with the scale showing me I have lost another pound.... so I know that some say you should not be a slave to the scale... and I understand that because it can be a downer when you climb on and see a weight gain or time after time stay the same... but I so enjoy getting on and jumping for Joy when I see that all my efforts have paid off and I have lost some weight. So I admit I do weigh myself every weekday morning... on weekends however I don't peak because my mind can try to play tricks on me. For example, my husband will say "let's go out...

Ouch!

Day 3, Wednesday..... I didn't get a good night sleep last night... my body was achy from my exercise yesterday... Yesterday I did a longer bike workout at a higher tension.... and of course I am feeling it! So giving myself an easier day for my body to recuperate a bit more today... I didn't have weights schedualed for today anyways. So just doing the rebounder (mini trampoline) to some upbeat music to get into a groove.... and a lot of stretching.

Good news though.... I took my measurements today and since 1/11/08 I have lost 10 1/4". So some improvement to celebrate...
