The weekend is about upon us... and today I got up to the scales and found another 2 pounds lost.... so 16 pounds gone for good! I am still determined and already feeling better with just that much off... but a long way to go yet... but I will get there! I would be happy if I can drop 10 pounds a month... which should be safe and healthy... of course my age is against me everyone seems to say... but still going to prove them wrong! I need to remember to up my water.... that is an easy one to slack off on for me for some reason. I know this journey takes proper eating of low carbs, proper...

Thursday Low Carbing

Still hanging in there with keeping it low carb. Not much exercise this week though... I stubbed a toe and have had to put up with a swollen/black and blue foot and sore hip... to doing a bit easy on the exercising.

Have lost another pound .... so 11 pounds gone forever this time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

menu
boiled egg
smoked cheese
decaf coff/splenda/heavy whipping cream
roasted chicken
large tossed salad
tomato
cucumber slices
8 black olives
blue cheese dressing
Blue cheese crumbles
herb tea
...

Still Determined

Still keeping it low carb... and doing pretty good... of course I wish the scale would drop quicker... but that's life and I am keeping on this journey of weight loss. My weight is now down 232 which is 10 pounds lost since I started doing low carbs this round. The saying is that as you get older it is harder to lose weight.... I am hoping to prove them all wrong... I don't really give much thought to age so I refuse to be one of those statistics!

I did some rebounding today... and of course kept it all low carb.
Menu today was:
low carb shake
low carb chicken...

Wednesday's journey

Still keeping strict low carbs... not much yesterday or today... but keeping the steps up pretty good.

Menu:
low carb shake, burger casserole with cheese onion and mushrooms, olives, tossed salad with cucumber, radish, cheese, blue cheese dressing. Coffee, cream, splenda and a couple of bites of low carb bar.

The scale was good this morning.... 233.. so losing even if it seems slow

Monday happenings

Weight is still at 234, but making thru a weekend and not gaining weight is an accomplishment... so I am feeling good.

Didn't get much exercise done over the weekend... but did get alot of steps on my pedometer. (I wear it all day to calculate steps that day) Today I am over 12,000... so thats a good thing.

I did a 20 min bike workout today.

menu:
Breakfast: a low carb shake
Lunch: low carb chicken nuggets and 1/2 a low carb bar.
Snack: the other 1/2 low carb bar and a couple of macadamea nuts
Dinner: Low carb casserole ...
