Just another day

Posted 09-23-2008 at 04:25 PM by noony
Blah. My days all seem the same sometimes. Had the baby all day and he will be bacjk at 5 in the morning with his 10 year old sister. I am getting way to old to raise a new family I must say.
On the plus side it does make me get up and move even when I would rather be lazy. This then is a plus even if I am beat by six o'clock.

My meals were on target today and my blood sugar was 131 this morning so it's gradually improving thank goodness. I never got to exercise though and hopefully soon I can find a stroller for him that is not as big as a tank like the one the kids...

Baby Blues

Well the grandbaby wanted to cling to me all day. Hence not much exercise. My meals were on key but I did little else but sit on the sofa with him. Not enough water either but now tis bedtime and tomorrow is another day. Tam is picking him up early for the doctors so that will give me time to do some cardio and take a walk maybe if this humidity ever gets down some.

I will not give up!up:

On to victory one day at a time

Today is going so good. I have been on the vitamin E and Folic Acid with B12 for 3 days now and I really think it's giving me a boost since I rarely eat foods with enough of these in them.
I actually did 1/2 hour of cardio this morning and waist exercises. I shocked even myself. My plan is right on track too so if I do not lose a pound this week I can't say I didn't give it my all. I am drinking tons of water too. Guess I need to buy some at the store this week to keep on hand. I can hopefully eliminate all the diet Coke.

On to victory!

On to victory for the last time

Posted 09-20-2008 at 02:21 PM by noony
This is it. I have to get this 20 pounds off once and for all. This diabetes has been a pain as far as losing weight but the medication has finally gotten my blood sugars under control so hopefully that will be all it takes to get back on track.
The cancer did not help and all that radiation to boot so I can eat so few carbs I am sick of my food choices. I am trying new recipes though and had the flaxmeal pancakes this morning which had no effect on my sugar so that is something nice besides eggs for the a.m.

No exercise today or tomorrow but when Monday comes it's back...
