I went back

Posted 06-30-2008 at 11:23 AM by Meg056
to what I knew had worked for me in the past..the pretty distant past as in high school and college. I went back to Stillman's QWL diet. I didn't know if I could do it again or if I'd have problems with it but I determined I would give it as long a try as I could muster. I was more careful this time than I had ever been before. I made very certain I had a good multivitamin and a couple calciums with D everyday. I drank all the required water and used a salt substitute for pottassium..also some Crystal lite hydrating varieties. Bottom line is it gave me a good start. In three weeks I had lost about 15 pounds and was sick of Stillman's so I started to add in some low carb vegetables. I also kept track of my calories and limited myself to 1,500 a day. I continued to lose at about the rate of two pounds per week...all with no added exercise.
