Exercise

A comment to a PM motivated me to clarify this. Since it is such an obvious part of weight loss to me, I didn't even mention it.
My recent personal philosophy is that I should enjoy my exercise, so that I WANT to do it. I know there are merits to purposeful routines, but I am just not "into" that right now. I want to enjoy myself, and I am such an obsessive type, if I exercise purely for the function of it, I WILL go overboard, I WILL obsess, I WILL hurt myself

My Start Weight

In addition to clarifying my goal weight, I thought I would clarify my start weight. Well, it is a sad story. My scale only went up to 350. One day, after a long period of denial, I pulled out the scale. I stepped on and it said... ERROR. I tried again ERROR. Changed the batteries. Tried again. ERROR. Put one foot on. It gave me a reading. Tried again. ERROR. Oh the horror when I realized I had exceeded the maximum weight.

At that moment, I cut out all the nonsense... the low carb junk with hidden carbs that I fooled myself into thinking was "legal"......

My Goal

When I went to a dietician, I found out that my lean body weight is 155. That is about 55 pounds more than the average woman my height, and also more than the average man my height (I don't remember by how much). So, my goal can never be 155 or less. I will never weigh what the weight charts say I should. If I did, I would be anorexic. Especially on a diet like Atkins, where little muscle mass is lost. I also exercise. So, it might sound like I am being an underachiever if you don't know my whole story, when I say my goal is 185.
