re: to good carbs/bad carbs in my blog:

Ummm, I am on less than twenty grams of carbs (and NOT subtracting fiber) and I have more energy than ever. Also, I have been eating this way on and off for years, and my cholesterol and triglycerides are perfect. Sure not EVERYONE has these reactions to the ultra-low-carb diet. But I do. And others I know, do, too... To each his/her own. And the Atkins diet is my own. Also, there's lots of info out there about how saturated fats are a lot better for you then are given credit. For instance, this is very informative reading! http://articles.mercola.com/sites/ar...art-three.aspx it focuses on coconut oil, but if you have a chance to read it, well, I dunno about you, but I was blown away! Anyway, I hope all this doesn't come across wrong, just sharing a different perspective!

that was an extra e-mail from my husband and was meant to be private. thanks for the comment.
