Goal! - 10/25/08

I dropped below goal as of this morning! My final goal was 118 lbs, and when I got on the scale this morning, it fluctuated between 116.5 and 117. The trick now is to stabalize, maintain and tone. The Egg Fast seems to be what I needed to get over that final hump. And now I know I can rely on the Egg Fast in the future if my weight starts to creep back up.
A few days ago I realized all my skirts are sliding down my hips; I had to change my clothes 3 times before I found soemthing I could wear to work. I need to make some alterations lest they fall mid-stride!
I might even treat myself to a little shopping.
Also, I am stopping my blood pressure meds today. I'll monitor closely up until my physical which is scheduled for next month. I can't wait to get the results of my blood work and see if I can talk the doctor into dropping the BP meds!

Thank you! I added food back in yesterday to start transitioning but still dropped another 2 pounds for 115 lbs this morning. I'm only 5' 4" so it's still ok, but I need to put the breaks on! That Egg/Protein Fast is crazy cool!

Thank you Rawson! The Egg Fast is not a diet, it is a fast, which is temporary. Not healthy for a long time! Most on the website are fasting for 3 to 5 days and then transitioning off for 3 to 5 days, then maybe doing the fast again. So there is a lot of alternating back and forth. I only did it for about 5 days because I was stuck at 4 pounds above my goal. The Egg Fast knocked me off that plataeu and allowed me to drop below my goal which was 118. But now I can't seem to put on the breaks and stop losing weight! I'm 115.5! It is important to start adding healthy carbs back in (I stick with anything green) and not stay on the egg fast too long. But everyone is different, so there are a few staying on it for longer periods. Right now I'm just trying to stabilize my weight. Good luck!
