IM back in controll of my eating I was on such a long stall for so long . Finding this site has giving me the tool i need to be accountable . Im on my way to my goal and i know I will get there.Its amazing how much support I have gotten from ppl here and I want to be able to give as much support back.

A month on stillmans!!!!!!

I have made it thru a month of stillmans, I have to say it is the best decision I made to break a stall .I learned several things thru out this month which I will list what changes took place at the end . First let me explain I suffer from sever mood swings and sever depression I am a rapid cycler meaning I cycle thru out the day with very high highs and very low lows.I have been giving very strong drugs to induce sleep at nite in which none has never helped, I would have no energy thru out the day and never wanted to go no where I was in my own prison .I have known along time that carbs are liek poison to me, I just dont process them like other ppl.When I would be on atkins I was always alot better not as sever more energy , but still wasnt sleepin enuff. when i hit the long stall and I couldnt lose no weight over the last year I would go up and down the same 20 pounds every month and I was very depressed. I found stillmanss thread and I tried it gave it a 100% try decided I wasnt going to cheat ! I think we all have been there making ourselves believe were doing the right thing when really were not even if we are saying were eating low carb , well to much low carb foods can add up!!! I know I fell into that trap, yes I was still eating on plan but way to much of the carbs i was allowed, and then id get them low carb protein bars and well they are not good for weight loss period or at least not for me! oh and the low carb ice cream yummm , but again no good for me.....heres the things i found that changed during my month on stillmans.

1.Was sleeping thru the nite [cant tell u how great that is for me cuz i never sleep at nite]

2.my moods were stabalized

3.had 100 x more energy than i had

4.my appetite was well under controll

5.I was able to eat honestly !!!

6.I wasnt sleepin during the day.

7.I was more productive and able to get stuff done.

8.my body didnt hurt like it was

9.My depression was non exsistant

These are just a few of the changes that have takin place since i have started stillmans. I was able to get off all my medication except my 1 for mood stabalizing , but my doctor cut it down to the lowest and that is huge for me. I have tried almost every anti deppresant none has never worked for me. stillmans is the best anti depressant It truelly has giving me my life back.I am goin to stick with 10 days on stillmans and 2 days on atkins till I reach my goal weight, but I will probably never be able to eat alot of carbs, but I cant tell u how much better I feel this has been so worth it, not only to lose weight but the mental relief to have controll again......I hope this helps someone...

Magic, what is stillmans? Great job on your success! I am inspired by your blog and no longer feel alone in this tough battle. I am 5'2 and have been a yo-yo dieter for the last 12 years, during which I've gained 60 pounds. It's been nearly impossible to lose it and am now suffering from depression, lack of energy, and can't sleep at night either. Then of course I'm tired during the day, but I have to work. I've thought about seeing a therapist as well. Does it work for you? Honestly, finding you here and the response I've already received upon my first hour since joining is amazing. I feel I can once and for all win this battle. Thank you!

sweet- stillmans is lean meat and low fat cottage cheese, I personally dont eat the cottage cheese, just lean meat, but it works very well for me , im on the get er done thread come on over and check us out.....
