I just read my last post and i am so lame!!! My total lost on ultrametabolism is 16 lbs! DUH!

Anyway.....i blew it this week. I've been under alot of stress at work and i've given in one too many times this week. I missed curves this morning because i think i had a reaction to the sesame oil in my salad yesterday and i had a headache. So i slept a bit more this morning. Did good while I was at work but then I caved in this evening again. Third day in a row where i lost it after i got home. I was planning on staying on the plan while i am on vacation next week. First Three Weeks...

I am almost half way through my last week on phase 1 of Ultrametabolism. I am really loving this woe! It is fast becomine a wol for me and it's the first time that i have been able to feel this way. I love the foods, the variety and the results. I am not bouncing all over the scales....i am not having heartburn.....i am not swelling. I think my problem was gluten. I had had a problem with it once before but over the years i think i forgot about it.

Changes.....

I have always been one to embrace change...i love it.....it's exciting....it's challenging....it's motivating. So why then do i find myself realizing that this change for weight loss to be so elusive? I was at curves this morning and albeit the mirror they have there is not very flattering.....i guess it's not meant to be....but i just don't look the way i see myself. I am reminded of a Jerry Springer program i saw once where this woman was well over 400 lbs and said she liked herself, said she didn't feel fat and couldn't see herself that way. Well the audience and Springer were all dumbfounded....

Live and Learn

The beginning of the week was tough. I felt like i couldn't mix my meals around and if i did what if i gained? what if i put the wrong foods together?? Then i realized that the book says you can mix and match. I am feeling a bit freer with it today. Planning is getting a little overwhelming but i think it is because the kids started school and there's alot goin on in the house at that time.

Harper said to name our routines.....other than curves, bike and weight I am not sure what that means. I made it to curves today and it felt really good!! Lots of people there and it...

2nd Week - Slow Motion

I don't know what is wrong with me this week. I have very little strength in my hands, my feet hurt, I am oversleeping and i haven't exercised since sunday. I feel good tho despite the fact I can't get my act together. We are still eating good. In fact this week we got to try a couple new recipes. Turkey with avocado dressing and today almond shrimp lettuce wraps. Tonight we will try orange chicken with spinach and steamed kasha.

I didn't think i would like the kasha which is buckwheat groats. I made it hot as a cereal yesterday with banana's and cinnamon. Very good. I bought...
