January 2008 Recap

Well, lookie here ... I am down 15 pounds. I have never felt better. I am full of energy, lost of cravings and have handled an unusual amount of stress with grace. What a difference sugar makes. Now if only I can remember these lessons in the months to come!
I have been consistently taking the supplements prescribed to me by Dr. Lang. I have also been taking Apple Cider Vinegar at least every day. In week three I again suffered through sinusitis and a bad cough. That seems to be the constant healing crisis that my body has to cope with. I missed a few workouts as a result, but I am thrilled with not only my results, but also my activities this month.
This has been the most frustrating month of my career yet. Could it simply be the two weeks I took off in December? Or is it the result of bad tweaks from the home office on our rates? Well, they have to listen now: my activity level has been high, and my results have never been so low. I truly need some help if I am going to hit POE, let alone PVP. If I don't hit PVP by April 30th, my career is done. It is as simple as that. I truly want to win this quest.
Jeff bought me a copy of GUILD WARS for a belated Christmas gift. It is fun beating bad guys to a pulp (I am a warrior) and to goof around with not only Jeff, but also his Dad and brother. It has been a good stress reliever.
ZUMBA continues to grow in popularity around here. Amy is such a gift, I love her classes. I feel more free to try out deeper moves this month...have been challenged to keep up with the instructors and just plain feel stronger. Sexier. It is so worth it. I am not sweating as much in the classes, I think that is due to the Winter Season ... it is such a fun class. It is my reward for a well decided day.
February will be a challenge: I am behind the 8 ball at work, I have a busy schedule already lined up personally and professionally. I know going in that I can accomplish great things and I look forward to the self-control and well planned out decisions to carry me through.
I will be adding an AM YOGA / PILATES quickie to my workouts in FEBRUARY. Let's see how that shakes things up.
Here's to Success!
