2008: Here's to a year of CONTROL

I cannot believe it is New Year's Eve. A year that started with such promise, ends with disappointment. Again ... And I know where my HOPE comes from!

2008 will be a year of control. Of planned solutions and one of great success. I deserve it. I am worthy. I am able. My goals are not Grand, they are steady. I will win my battles and then help others win theirs. I will do what I know to do ... and expect nothing less.

I am going to start again with Dr. Atkins' ladder. I do not like the thought of doing it again, but as I sit here on New Year's Eve ... at 215 pounds ... I obviously have not yet learned my lessons. The great news is that I know what to do ... I have done it before ... and I know what it feels like to win. So winning I choose to do.

I will spend two weeks in a clean induction. I will spend time on myself walking this month. I will journal my journey on this blog. I will hit my goals at work, and I will be promoted.
