Day 12.......Overcome Cravings

Posted 06-07-2008 at 09:14 PM by laurihill
Tomorrows task in to work on overcoming cravings. Perfect for me, I have a baby shower where shower where I know there will be great food, but probably nothing I can eat. I will not be tempted to break my diet. If there is no food for me, I just wait and eat when I get home.

Her lesson is a good one today. I have a problem with cravings, but now that I have been religious about atkins, I don't really worry, there are no cravings. Today Adam brought home a strawberry cheesecake pie from Baker's Square. Oh man, that sure did look good, but not even a taste for me. I didn't crave it. It did look good, but I could walk away easily. In the book she writes Cravings start to diminish the moment you decide your absolutely not going to stray from your diet. They increase when your indecisive about whether or not to eat. To weaken the intensity and reduce the frequency of cravings, you have to stop giving in to them.

Today

Brkf: same
dinner: 1 can tuna with mayo
snack: atkins bar and a few pecans
