Day 11..........Practice Hunger Tolerance
People who struggle with dieting get hungry and feel hunger pains more intensely. It can feel like an emergency.........all the attention gets focused on how uncomfortable it feels, and when and where to get food.
Tomorrows task is to practice hunger tolerance. She recommends skipping lunch, just eating breakfast and not lunch, then supper. That is not practical for me, since we eat supper at 8:00pm (tonite it was 9). I am always hungriest at 3:30-4:00, I don't know if I am hungrier then, or just think that is when I need to eat, so tomorrow I am going to go without food from noon till 8:00 and then rate my hunger pains and let myself know that I will live just fine without eating my afternoon snack.
I did good again today. I still can't believe how good I feel and the energy I have. I am so grateful to have my asthma under control, and my eating practice back to where it belongs.
The one thing I am not doing well at is planned exercise. I have to work on that. Next week is my week to really start kicking the exercise avoidance in the butt..........

snack.......atkins bar and pecans
supper......talipia coated with parmasan cheese and lettuce salad....mayo
