Day 5.....learn to eat slowly and enjoy your food

This one is a biggie for me. I scarf my food most of the time, plus I never eat without having something to read in front of me, which is also a no-no. So, starting today, I have to find ways to remind myself to eat slowly and thoughtfully. The author asks, do you ever eat so fast, or with so many distractions, that when you finish a meal you feel like you didn't get to eat anything? That is me all the time. I made a post it note (my kitchen is filling up with post its) that says Eat With Intention. That is my reminder. I reread my response cards, I didn't eat standing up, I ate slowly without reading.

Dinner 1 grilled cheeseburger patty
coleslaw
Snack:
SF jello with cream cheese
15 pistachio nuts
1 cheese stick
1 pc. lunch meat
(that sounds like a lot of snacking, but I'm hungry then)
Supper:
Grilled tbone
salad with french and blue cheese dressing plus bacon bits (yummy).
Brkf: the same
