Water, Water, where art thou?

Posted 07-31-2008 at 11:44 PM by kiwikid
I ran out of water last night, completely. I knew I was going to, and I ask the Ayi to phone for a water delivery for Thursday. She looked at the bottle and suggested Friday, but I said Thrusday again and pointed to myself and made the drinking motion with my hand.

I have been so good with water that I am going through 1 full water cooler bottle a week, exactly. Anyway I don't know what happened? The water never came so maybe she ordered it for Friday instead. When she comes she will see it is bone dry and arrange it to be filled, so at least I will have water for tonight.

Fortunately I have to drink diet Coke, until the new water arrives. I am allowing myself One diet coke on a friday anyway if I lose weight, and I lost 2lbs this week. It is such a shame though as now I am drinking it warm (yuck) as opposed the freezing cold tonight. I just do not have time to put it in the freezer, I am desperately thirsty. It is warm because I am keeping them out of the fridge, less incentive to drink them if they are warm. It is 1:30 and this is my first liquid for the day. What a waste of my treat.

At least the water bottle will now arrive on the Ayi's work day. My goal will be to empty it weely so that each Friday she does the reorder. It will be hard though once school starts as I will be drinking at school, but I am going to try to add the school drink on top of my current water consumption.

Poor you. That is tough not being able to get your water straight from the tap. Can you boil it then leave it to cool?
