Getting close to Christmas

Only 1.3lbs to go to get below 290 lbs and I am very hopeful that I will make it by Xmas. This week I lost 2.4 lbs. I have also been swimming every day. Went to a 60th birthday afternoon tea and stuck with water and had 2 chicken nibbles. I have Renee arriving from China on Monday and we are going to make crustless cheesecake pudding for dessert on Tuesday when we have friends coming for dinner I am going to do Baked Ham with Egg salad and broccoli Salad and Asparagus. It is summer here so salads will be fine My friend and her daughter are both in the 100-110 lb range so will quite happily eat...

A further 3 lbs gone

A very good week, with a loss of 3 lbs. I am now hopeful that I might reach 290 lbs by Christmas. I have been so good with my food. All the Christmas functions that I am now going to I have only been drinking water and have completely by passed the desserts and nibbles. A lot have buffets so I have the ham and green salad and broccoli and cauli so that is not difficult. We've got fresh snapper for dinner tonight which Richard (my son) caught last night. Make a nice broccoli salad to go with that.

After 4 months

Cheat free and have now lost 21.4 lbs since I got my scales but in reality I have probably lost about 27 lbs in all. Not too bad but I had hoped for a bit more. But I am still going down and the clothes are getting looser. Went out for dinner last night with a group of people I hadn't seen in months and they said how well I looked. I am really noticing it in my face ,neck and forearms and wrists. Allthough I know from my clothes that I am losing all over it would be nice if it was a bit more noticeble in my stomach and tummy.This weeks loss was .8 lb.

Better Week

Down another 1.4lbs. Going slowly but getting further away from the dreaded 300lbs. Happy birthday Renee I wanted to start a thread and do that but don't know how, Maybe someone will read this and tell me how to do it. It is probably so simple but I just haven't sussed it yet.

Making slow progress

At the rate I am decreasing in weight I can't see me reaching290 by Christmas. That is only just under six weeks and I have nearly nine pounds to lose. So far I have been cheat free over 100 days and I aim to stay on plan over the festive season. This week I lost .8 lb. When we go to Australia for a week over New Year I am only going to eat Fish and steak meals with vegies and salad. We have a nice apartment booked and will cook our own breakfasts of bacon and eggs. We are taking our nine year old grandson to the Fun Parks and Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo. I might take some packed lunches but...
