I can't wait to be on the road again! We are headed out this afternoon for the next three weeks. Off to Yellowstone, Glacier and Banff National Parks and all points in between!

My challenge...this morning I was at 145lbs due to an extremely hard work week in which I sweated profusely and ate sparingly. That is my "dream" goal. The trick will be maintaining the LC WOE over the next three weeks when we are eating at restaurants and camping. My hope is to stay under 150lbs and to stay in control. I think I can do it! under 150lbs!!!! I am hovering around 147lbs which is within 2 lbs of goal....can't beat it! It has been a rough week with hard work and high temperatures. With the exception of an altercation with a piece of pecan pie....I haven't really had any eating "issues". I feel really good and that I can keep on for as long as I need to to maintain my loss and maybe lose those last stubborn pounds.

We leave for our vacation on Wednesday. I am sooo looking forward to getting away. I am thankful that I have been following this WOE for about five months already because I think...

Please? Please, please can I eat some cake? I am soooo wanting to eat cake right now. I tried to eat some almonds but that hasn't helped. "O Canada" Cake...I stand on guard for thee! Oops...make that, "I stand on guard AGAINST thee!!!!" There is just no hope...I'm going to have to toss that cake in the trash. So sad....such a terrible waste.

It has been a brutal day with the food. Holly brought this beautiful strawberry ice cream cake to HC. Everyone was chowing down and I decided....I don't need that. She was trying to be kind...so...

Or 4th of July picinic? It is raining here in NW Arkansas and I feel bad for everyone who is trying to celebrate outside. I'm not sure if I mentioned it here before or not, but I am a Canadian living in the US so, strictly speaking, this ain't my holiday! Still, I know how important it is for many Americans so I feel sorry for the rain. You guys take so few holidays as it is (compared to us vacation lovin' Canucks) that it must be a real bummer when the weather doesn't cooperate. Oh well....hopefully it will clear up in time for fireworks.

the weight loss, I mean! As those of you who read my blog know, I have been stuck at 150lbs for the past month but I have been sticking with the plan anyway. A couple of days ago...I felt a little fat . So, I thought I better step on the scale and see what was going on. I don't always trust my perception of my weight so I use the scale to help keep me in reality. Anyway...I was saying, "Please, please could I NOT have gained any weight...could it just say 150lbs?" It said, 148!!!!! I was flabbergasted! Then today...I stepped on again...it said 147lb!!!!...
