Holding tight....

Its my second day to be 155lb....if it holds tomorrow, I am claiming that pound as permanent!

Today is one of those magical days when I am not really hungry. If only they came around more often.

Last night I had a teensy, weensy victory. Remember that Peanut Butter Silk Pie I made on the weekend? Well, last night I was craving something sweet so I cut myself a modest piece. It was YUM! Of course, as soon as I put the last bite in my mouth, I started thinking...."I should just eat the rest of the pie....get it out of the way. I'll deal with...

Little sprouts up in the garden...yeaaaaah!

My veggies are up!!! It has been warm and rainy for the past couple of days, plus I watered on Sunday afternoon which is perfect weather for gardens. Yesterday, my corn, beans, squash and zuchini were visible...I'm excited!!!

So...even with the pizza last night...my calories were low yesterday. I know, I know....calories are NOT the issue...CARBS are. But...really for me, it is an issue of both...LC and less than 1500 calories a day. Today, I'm going to try to drink a lot of water and eat simply to make up for the pizza. I'm going to roast a little chicken for dinner and...

I'm not sorry!!! My carbs are definately a little high today but it is just one day and this is for life, right? I planned to eat the pizza and I enjoyed every bite. I kept my calories and carbs low all day in preparation and for me...that is what it is all about!

Onward and upward....

Regrouping and feeling better....

Okay...yesterday was better. I decided to weigh a little more frequently than once a week based on a thread I read on the board. Part of my anxiety, is not knowing what is going on and whether or not what I am doing is "working". So...rather than wait for a whole week to find out....I'm going to step on the scale every couple of days...and keep the numbers in perspective!! One person on the board said that she judges loss and gain by if she stays at that weight for 3 days....seems like a good idea. This morning, I was back down a pound to my last week's weight....hopefully it will...

Just what I was afraid of...

Weigh in day and just as I suspected....I didn't lose any weight and I might have gained a pound. I know that it shouldn't bother me but it does. It makes me rethink what I've been doing this past week and to go back to some of my previous ways of doing LC.

Last week, I really started to concentrate on increasing my fat intake and not worrying about calories. I really didn't feel good most of the week. My energy was low and a couple of times I felt bloated and overfull. I also ate more splenda because of some LC recipes that I followed in my new cookbooks. That could have...
