Give me a table so that I can....

Posted 05-04-2009 at 04:13 PM by Keptewe
eat the freakin' legs off it!!! I am soooo hungry today...what the heck??? I have been eating all day and I am still hungry. I started with my usual yogurt/flax for breakfast but an hour later, I was still hungry and feeling a little shaky too? Since I had to go and do a house clean...I ate some roast chicken, spinach with ranch dressing. Three hours later...I ate some almonds...then, some more almonds...still not feeling satisfied. Right now...while I am typing, I am eating more yogurt. I hate days like today.

On the plus side...I am going out tonight...

Freezing my 154 lb butt off...

Posted 05-03-2009 at 04:48 PM by Keptewe
Yowee!!! Where did the heat wave go? It has rained ALL day and the temperature is in the low 50's. We had a cookout for HC today and had decided to go ahead rain or shine since we booked a covered pavillion. Well, we were dry but it was so cold, I haven't warmed up yet. I wonder if anyone else eating LC feels cold a lot of the time?

Did you catch that coy reference to my current weight in the title of this post???? That's right! I weighed myself this morning and it said 154lb....I haven't seen that number this time around before!!! I am soooo excited....please, please,...

Time to implement my Saturday night strategy...

Posted 05-02-2009 at 04:13 PM by Keptewe
So...I am preparing dinner for eight tonight. It is a mixture of HC and LC....grilled chops w/cajun seasoning (L), green bean and sausage casserole (fairly L), Memphis Corn Pudding (never in a million years L), coleslaw (new LC recipe), and cheese bread (no need to think about THAT one)! I bought a fresh strawberry cream cake from Sam's. So...I didn't invest a lot of time in dessert preparation and I didn't make a LC dessert that I would be tempted to eat too much of over the next few days. We will see how it goes....the cake looks good but I think I can resist it. Especially after last...

Ouch!!!! I just checked the nutritional info. for Outback Steakhouse...the side salad that I chose had 98.6g of carbs and 569 calories!!!!! crap!!! I was doing so good and now look at that! How could I be so dumb....I knew it tasted too good to be true! Well, THAT was a hard lesson to learn. I guess from now on, I'll be sticking to the house salad. I feel dumb...dumb AND fat.

Whew...the pie is gone!!!

Posted 05-01-2009 at 08:34 AM by Keptewe
Now...I won't hear it calling to me from the fridge! I ate a little sliver last night and made Tom eat the rest. So...I think I'm learning something here. I made a LC cheesecake for company two weeks ago and then the LC peanut butter pie for company last Saturday night and BOTH times I had a terrible time with NOT eating it everyday after. I know it is because they are LC so somehow I feel like I can and should have some. Problem is, I don't think that it is good for my weight loss...I'm definately stalled. So...this Saturday night (when we have company AGAIN) I am making a regular dessert....
