Forget about it...and it will come...

the weight loss, I mean! As those of you who read my blog know, I have been stuck at 150lbs for the past month but I have been sticking with the plan anyway. A couple of days ago...I felt a little fat . So, I thought I better step on the scale and see what was going on. I don't always trust my perception of my weight so I use the scale to help keep me in reality. Anyway...I was saying, "Please, please could I NOT have gained any weight...could it just say 150lbs?" It said, 148!!!!! I was flabbergasted! Then today...I stepped on again...it said 147lb!!!! WOW!

So...basically...here's the thing....I just STOPPED obsessing about losing and started concentrating on maintaining what I had already lost. I decided to be satisfied with that for a while and see what happens. As soon as I did that....the stall broke! I am now back losing and headed for my final goal!


The moral of the story? When you are in the playgroud, sometimes you have to swing on the swings...sometimes you have to bounce up and down on the seesaw...sometimes you get to hang around on the monkey bars (even though your arms are getting tired)..and sometimes...you get to ride the slide and feel the rush of a sure and certain descent! Hang in there wherever you all are right now....I am almost finished with the slide and you can have a turn!
