MISSING - PLEASE PRAY

Posted 04-14-2009 at 10:25 AM by Kathy_de_Alabama

UPDATE: SHE IS ALIVE AND SAFE. THANK GOD!!!!!!!!!!

I have an urgent prayer request, for those so inclined:

There is a missing girl in my daughter's class at her school. She is 16 year old Dianna Niven. She went to Wal-Mart on Easter Sunday evening, and surveillance video shows her getting into someone’s van in Wal-Mart parking lot. She left her cell phone and keys in her car. She was reportedly not the type to “run off.” Please pray for her safe return.

WEIRD DINING EXPERIENCE

Posted 04-02-2009 at 09:45 AM by Kathy_de_Alabama
I just posted this in the forumns, but wanted a record of it in my journal too.

Ok. I hope I have time to finish this post before something else kicks up here at work. (sigh)

Ok. Last night I had the weirdest dining experience ever. As I may have mentioned DS6 had a baseball game, and since my husband and I both work, we usually go out after the games. It’s hard enough to get everybody where they need to be with all their stuff, much less worry about dinner. (Many of you know this already, I know.)
Anyway, so after the games, we have been going to one of two places so I can eat ZC –either O’Charley’s where I have a steak or a local seafood restaurant where I get grilled trout. Last night, it was the seafood place (best seafood in the world, probably, no kidding). When we got there, I noticed they had steak. I’ve been there a million times and never noticed this – they have NY Strip and Prime Rib. It’s expensive ($16.99), but I got the prime rib.
Here’s where it gets weird. When they brought it out, and I took my first bite, I noticed right away it tasted like French Onion soup. And I thought I tasted a vegetable broth or something. It was saturated in something. Well, I kept eating thinking it was just an unusual marinade, but the more bites I had the more I realized that this steak was cooked in some sort of stew! And then I noticed and picked off a small slice of carrot and 2 small slices of celery off the side of the steak! (This wasn’t noticeable at first – like it wasn’t supposed to be there.) And the steak was like --- salty and starchy --- I don’t know how else to describe it.
I was starving, so I kept eating. I was even too hungry for them to make something else or get me another steak. It tasted pretty good, but my body immediately told me I was consuming carbs. I got nauseous on the way home and also this morning. I felt heavy – if you know what I mean.
I’m not changing my “no cheats” days in my siggy b/c it was totally unintentional. And I have no idea whether I had 5 or 50 g of carbs! I feel like I had a lot b/c it is taking me a while to recover. I was also swollen again this morning.

Well, I better post this (I’m typing in Word) and get back to work. Tell me what you all think!

OH, and PS – I’ll be more prepared for HOME dinners after baseball games from now on!!!

Also -- the steak was ordered med rare and that's how it was -- how'd they even do that??

REPLY FROM BEE

This is posted here for future reference, so I can eventually use it to piece together a log of my progress. My letter to Bee Wilder - on her Candida Yahoo group - is given with her reply. It is embarassing how bad things got with my body - but I'm leaving it up to remind myself when things get rough. Never wanting to go back there is great motivation.

+++Hi Kathy. My heart goes out to you with suffering so much from
UTI. I had it for many years too, and even had a cyst in my bladder
that burst and bled badly.

+++You are so very welcome my dear. You deserve to be healthy, and
happy. I am honored to be able to help you and others. We can have
a virtual hug ((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))) ! LOL!

+++Kathy, bursitis is minaly caused by mineral imbalances,
particularly calcium and magnesium. So ensure you are getting the
recommended amount of "good" ocean sea salt, good mineralized water,
and that you are taking all of the supplements in the recommended
doses - everything works together so don't leave anything out.

+++For treatment you can do a few things: 1) rub cod liver oil into
the area twice a day, 2) take all of the supplements in correct
doses, 3) take an Epsom Salt bath once a day, and 4) for pain take
White Willow Bark (available from the health store; take according to
the label) and apply mustard packs to the area (there's many recipes
on the internet). Also you can apply vitamin C to the area, by using
ascorbic acid crystals mixed in water and applied with cotton balls.

+++There is a lot of hope for you for sure!
