Original Start Weight: 276
New Start Weight Sept 2008: 240

I went from 276 to 226 in late 2006 to early 2007. 50 lbs down! Woohoo! But then I stopped for reasons unknown, and about 14 lbs crept back up in a year and a half. I restarted September 2008 so I can finish this thing!

Very nice co-worker was calling us cattle to the feed. I loooove taking pictures instead of indulging!

Well, no loss this morning and quite frankly, I have a problem. I've been weighing myself everyday. It's discouraging to see no loss (and actually I have a tiny gain). I know I had a ton of sodium, so why do I torture myself? Since I'm part of a challenge, I will limit myself to Wednesday weigh-ins.

I made it an entire weekend without ONE cheat!!!

I'm so proud and also very surprised with myself! I *always* rationalize and allow myself something that I KNOW is going to stall me. And it's usually something that is NOT low carb. I'm just so freakin' happy!!

And the scale is still going down, so there's the motivation I need to keep going! I feel like this is my last journey to weight loss! I just feel different this time around. Hard to explain.

Well, for anyone reading this, I did take pics of my turn-downs. LOL! They aren't very...

Everything seems different to me right now. I don't know how to put it, but I've not cheated ONCE this week. But my interpretation of cheating can be broad because I'm following my own LC rules. They are basically to eat almost entirely clean, no processed flour or sugars.. In addition to this, I still avoid breads, starchy veggies and of course all candies and sweets. I eat very Atkins-like, but I'm not doing induction. Just eating good and exercising.

I feel really good this way. Maybe I'm not meant to follow one specific plan. Like I said before, we are all different and have...

Today was a busy day! I avoided THREE temptations!



There's a little "Famous Amos" cookie. I looooove these with coffee! And it just so happened I had a cup of coffee in my hands! But did I resist? YEAH!!!! Go me!

Oh yeah.. and the day before yesterday I ordered a breakfast burrito with bacon and egg so I could open it and eat out the bacon and eggs. Well,

This is going to start being a blog about all the food I turn down!! That'll be kinda funny and motivational! I'll be so proud!


Some kinda bbq beef frito pie. It looks messy but it SMELLED quite nice. That's all, just a sniff!

I'm still trying to get the hang of things. I just want to go low carb. I want to set my own rules and limits. I want to listen to my body and know how many carbs I can have or which foods are ok and which aren't. We're all different, right!?

My biggest setback...
