Induction Day 11 - I think it's happening!

I think the ketosis might be starting. I almost had to force myself to eat tonight, so appetite is reducing.

Carbs very low today, around 12! Eep. But there's not much chance of getting any more today.

I kind of lost track of water, but I think I'll have had 8 by the time I get to bed.

Was in town today and resisted hunting out any "products" in Boots. Clean, clean, clean!

My leg is almost all better now, so I'll try a little gentle exercise tomorrow.

Induction Day 10

Carbs for today, just under 18. Still room for a cuppa.

My leg is feeling better. I hope by Saturday I'll be able to exercise.

Off work tomorrow, need a haircut and other jobs to do. I intend to get out early and home for lunch, don't want to have to seek out something induction friendly in town.

Induction Day 9

Carbs for today 18. Well 18.5 by the time I have a cup of cammomile tea before I go to bed.

Had a bad headache when I woke up today, maybe caffeine withdrawal, as I have cut down quite a bit.

Induction Day 8 First Weigh In

2lb loss first week of induction. Pretty lame actually, I think I still need to make some adjustments. I'm still drinking too much tea and coffee, need to at least switch to mostly herbal teas and limit the coffee. Avoid cream where possible. That's not hard, it makes me feel kind of sick anyway.

And up the fat. The freezer is full of chicken, I need more pork and beef. Pork chops I can do on the George Forman grill. Well, lots of things I can do on there. It should be on every day!

Tonight, going to roast a couple of chicken thighs and make a crustless quiche....

Induction Day 7 - Bad Leg improving

It's getting better rapidly. Not so much that I dare get on the stepper, but I'll see how it goes tomorrow.

Carbs for today, under 20. Think I'm done with food for today now.

Weigh in tomorrow! Eeek. I have this horrible feeling there'll be no change at all.
