Weigh in Sunday 27th

Posted 01-27-2008 at 02:40 AM by junkfoodmonkey
No change this week, damn it.

I think I'll stick with 25g for one more week and if still no loss I guess I go back to induction level carbs.

I hope I can keep upping the fat a little. I have lard now!

I'm loving this forward planning

Posted 01-22-2008 at 03:57 AM by junkfoodmonkey
Was at around the 25grams yesterday. All the forward planning I'd done paid off in terms of time saved, so that felt great. Especially when I sat down with a dinner plate of chicken and veggies at lunchtime. Hot veggies (though I didn't reheat the chicken). Like a proper dinner. Screw salad!

Similar plans today. Slightly lower carb count likely, as yesterday included 8 carbs just in the chopped tomatos I had at dinner!

Roast chicken leg on the menu tonight. I'm salivating already.

Damn leg is still bad. It seemed better on the weekend, but as soon...

Planning ahead

Posted 01-20-2008 at 05:44 PM by junkfoodmonkey
Awesome, I decided that planning meals ahead for the week is a damn good idea, and someone on here described how she basically prepares everything on a Sunday morning, ready to go for the week. Not cooking ahead and freezing (which I wouldn't want to do. Blech, reheating. ) But all the veggies are prepared, I know when to take things out of the freezer etc. All I have to do it lob 'em in the pan.

Carbs today, <10! Practically on meat and egg fast today. Mostly because I'd used up all my veg preparing the week's meals.

I took me about two hours to do,...

New Weigh In Day

Posted 01-20-2008 at 02:40 AM by junkfoodmonkey
Sunday is he best weigh in day for me, so Sunday from now on. Down another lb since Tuesday.

Thinking about the fact I'm maybe quite a slow loser I doubt I'll get up many rungs on the OWL ladder. Nuts and seeds is okay, and extra veggies. Cottage cheese I don't actually like! Berries, I can live without, for now, but hey, if I can get 'em in, all well and good.

But for now, still on rung 1, 25g, extra veggies.

My leg seems about healed now, I may try exercising at least a little today, then get into routine tomorrow if it is okay.

Accountability and Planning. (Sounds like a govt white paper.)

Started keeping a food diary, just a list of what I eat and drink, to make sure everything is counted for the day and I can't "forget" anything. Keeps me honest.

Wobbly few days not counting properly, though I don't think I went over 25g at any point. I'll continue at 25gs on through to next Sunday, though will weigh this Sunday too, so I've got a full week's OWL at 25g between weigh ins. And I'm working hard on getting more fat into what I eat. Too heavy on protein just now. Maybe the fat will make me lose faster.

I think planning the week's meals ahead...
