Minor triumphs

I'm able to wear my dark green crinkle blouse again without bulging out of it or straining the buttons!

Next up, the burgundy skirt and the dark purple skirt in time for spring and the floaty pink chintz skirt for the summer!

Exercised yesterday, so I've stuck to my schedule twice in a row. Next one tomorrow.

Scale moving again at last! Down 1 and 3/4 lbs!

Meal prep day today, I'm really starting to enjoy doing that. Feels so satisfying once it's all done. I'll make a crustless quiche for breakfasts this week.

Back to Basics

Right. Apparently everything stalls me. Anything you've ever heard mentioned on here that "may stall some people", does stall me.

So, it's back to basics. Whole food I suppose.

Fresh meat, fresh fish, eggs, veggies.
No cream (I don't know if it stalls me in the allowed amounts, but I can't stick to the allowed amounts, so better to have none.)
Minimal cheese. (And no cream cheese. Again portion control issues.)
No sweetners.
Caffeine, is currently on minimal (one cup of caffeinated tea a day.) Try to get it to zero.

Caffeine cut right back

Okay, I had one cup of black tea this morning and that's it! That's my caffeine for the day. The rest of the day is herbal or red tea or black decaf coffee. I'm drinking fennel tea right now, it's yum.

Did a tea stock up run at Tesco this morning, to make sure to have plenty of fruit and herbal and red in, so that I've got a good variety to have at work and home, to avoid temptation.

Must resist having cream in the coffee though. Cream and cheese could be the next things I cut back on a lot.

Biting the bullet

Gotta give up the caffeine. No option.

Okay, so maybe not 0 Caff, I'll allow myself a black tea in the morning and the rest of the day is decaff. Especially the coffee.

Red tea can be a nice sub when I want something other than the fruity type teas.

On the good side, black decaff coffee is zero carbs, so I can have as much of that as I like. (Just don't lash loads of cream in it. )

I'll buy some decaf tonight and some more herbals and stuff, running low on those.

Maybe I'll sleep better too.
