Moving again

Posted 09-23-2008 at 01:35 AM by junkfoodmonkey
Finally moving again! Checked the scales this morning and was down to 72.1 kilos which is just under 159lbs.

Now, just keep it going! A tiny bit more and that's 25lbs lost.

Didn't do anything to break the stall, after being around 73 for weeks. Just kept going, eating clean, watching portions etc.

Ugh!

Feeling a bit cruddy today. TOM mean aches and pains a nausea for the first day. Oh and a pound up on the scales (why'd I step on them, why?)

Feeling too crap to go to the gym. Yes, I know I'm a lamer, but it's just tough. I'll try and get there tomorrow, even though I'm off work tomorrow, and will have my cutesome little EeePC to play with.

Gym last night, rowing machine time, 11:18 again!

Food today:
Crustless quiche. Cream cheese. Bacon. Coffee with cream.
2 slices ham, 1 boiled egg, celery, mayo, cheese, cherry toms and cauli bisque...

Deleted. Calmed down about that now.

Rowing machine last night 11 mins 18 seconds, shaving 6 seconds off benchmark. Tonight I'll try for 11:15. I like the way the display shows the projected finish time at the current pace. Helps to keep me going.

Food today:
Breakfast: crustless quiche and cream cheese and bacon. Back bacon is kind of ugh. I'm back to streaky bacon next time. Much nicer!

Lunch and snacks through day: Cauli bisque soup, tuna salad, with mayo and celery. Cherry tomatos. Hard boiled egg. Babybel cheese. Heh, kind of a picnic....

Progress

Should start blogging again. It's always useful. I don't want to bore the folks over on live journal wittering about Low Carb, so can witter here instead.

I'm currently at 160lbs, having gone down a little after a stall for all of August. But I had lost 2kg of bodyfat, according to my gym fitenss assessment.

I've been on Induction level carbs and legal foods for the past few weeks (well maybe a little over on the veggie carbs by now) and have been concentrating on eating clean. I think it's time to start moving up the rungs again from next week. I'm already on rung...

Gah! Saying this here, cos if I say it in the Lobby I'll start a fight! People if you say "I'm doing Atkins and I'm not losing" and then go on to describe some bats**t crazy stuff that resembles Atkins like I resemble Kate bloody Moss, then newsflash! You're not doing Atkins. Describe it as "my bats**t crazy plan" if you want to, but stop calling it Atkins.

Atkins is customisable of course, but within parameters. There comes a point when you get outside of those and you are no longer doing Atkins. If that's working for you, then...
