Posted 01-22-2008 at 11:52 AM by jezzie
Found at a blog called Babble:
Quote:

I wonder what kind of world we might live in, if instead of “lose weight”,
people would instead make a new year’s resolution to

“learn more about myself and the people in my life”.

Instead of planning to shed pounds, how about working on shedding

I've been thinking about a post I read earlier this morning ... people lecturing others about their eating plan.

Quite presumptuous of the lecturer. ... I know what's best for you?

Quote:
You have your way. I have my way.
As for the right way, the correct way,
and the only way, it does not exist.

YOU: Growing Older

Quote:

Of all the self-fulfilling prophecies in our culture,
the assumption that aging means decline and poor health
is probably the deadliest.

You are as young as your faith, as old as your doubt;
as young as your self-confidence, as old as your fear;
as young as your hope, as old as your despair.
